Oriflame’s new fragrance, Sir Avebury eau de toilette for men, has a new “masstige” look, created by Aptar beauty + home.

The square bottle has a new heavyweight cap made from zamac, with an elegant finish. The ungalvanized cap is lacquered and polished. It weighs 2 oz, and gives the 75 ml fragrance bottle a premium look.

“We wanted Sir Avebury to go upscale, to change its cap to make it more attractive, original and appealing,” explained Rémi Chapelon, senior category packaging manager, Colors & Fragrances, at Oriflame.

Chapelon continued, “Oriflame has been working extremely closely with Aptar beauty + home for many years, particularly where its traditional spray systems are concerned. The challenge we set Aptar beauty + home was new – and more conceptual, based on precise and demanding specifications.”

The challenge was in creating an attractive, “heavy and substantial” premium cap – at a reasonable cost.

The team at Aptar was able to achieve its goal of mixing the elegance of an aftershave with the pared-down luxury design of a premium package, for Sir Avebury’s new look.
